With deep roots in Texas, Melanie Biedebach, President of Whirlwind Productions spent her youth south of Los Angeles, California. It was there the acting bug bit at the mere age of 3 and by 9 years old she was auditioning for local theatre. Melanie has enjoyed many years in the entertainment industry appearing on stage, in film and as a model.

Melanie formed her own production company after seeing the growing need to preserve our western heritage through the mediums she had always worked with and decided her career would take a different turn. In the works for many years, it was finally in 2008 that things began to come to fruition. Her passion is to make the wonderful world of country living and our western heritage more accessible to everyone, not just those raised on a ranch, farm or rural community.

Melanie lives with her husband and two children in a dairy and equestrian community outside of Los Angeles. Melanie is a member of several Equestrian, Livestock and Agriculture Associations as well as a proud parent of a 4-H Club Officer and a Pacific Coast Junior Bull Rider. Melanie also holds the position as West Coast Reporter for Rodeo Attitude News Networks and co-hosts the daily national radio show "Loos Trails & Tales" with Trent Loos.  Along with Cindy Meyers, Melanie founded the Western Preservation Campaign that honors our Farmers, Ranchers & Rodeo athletes with a light brown ribbon worn to signify our rich western heritage.  In her spare time, Melanie enjoys team roping as a header on her beloved champion paint horse Miss Bell.
